John Maidman is an NYC-based Producer, Editor and Cinematographer, specializing in Documentary Film. His work has appeared on HBO (Class Divide, Baltimore Rising, One Nation Under Stress), PBS (Rikers: an American Jail), Amazon Prime (Crystal City), USA Network (Inside the FBI: New York) and Animal Planet/Discovery (Ocean Warriors), among other platforms. He most recently edited the I Promise documentary feature, which premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, and has since been viewed over 2 million times as a Youtube Original. He is also experienced in project development, as well as promotional materials (Brooks Brothers, Dances of Vice).
